Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic investigations of security breaches and cyberattacks
- Develop and implement advanced threat detection rules and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden systems
- Generate executive-level security reports and risk assessments
- Lead penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Stay current with emerging threats (ransomware, APTs, zero-days)
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations with hands-on SIEM experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Proficiency in Python/SQL for threat hunting and automation
- Familiarity with NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
