Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco/Juniper network hardware including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds/NPM and troubleshoot outages within SLA
- Implement VLAN segmentation, VPN tunnels, and wireless security protocols
- Document network changes using Visio/Confluence and maintain IPAM records
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid Azure/AWS connectivity solutions
- Perform physical cabling and rack installations in data center environments
- Provide Tier 2 support for VoIP systems and unified communications
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification (CCNP preferred)
- Proficiency in SNMP, TCP/IP, and OSI model troubleshooting
- Experience with network automation tools (Python/Ansible)
- Strong knowledge of SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela/Palo Alto Prisma)
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work in elevated server racks
- OSI Security+ certification or equivalent security awareness
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
