We are seeking a highly analytical and technically proficient Software Engineer to join our elite engineering team. This is a critical role focused on the weekend shift, ensuring our low-latency trading infrastructure remains resilient during off-hours maintenance, settlement processing, and pre-market preparation.

Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-performance software solutions for equity options execution and risk management engines.
- Execute critical weekend maintenance, system updates, and security patches to minimize downtime during high-volume trading sessions.
- Debug and resolve complex backend issues that arise during market closures and settlement periods.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to implement and validate new options pricing models and hedging strategies.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics, proactively identifying bottlenecks in the trading stack.
- Ensure strict adherence to SEC regulations and internal compliance standards for data handling and trade reporting.
Qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on low-latency systems or financial technology.
- Expert proficiency in C++ and Python; familiarity with Linux environments and shell scripting is required.
- Deep understanding of equity options markets, including vanilla and exotic products, Greeks, and market microstructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems under pressure.
- Availability and willingness to work rotating weekend shifts and holidays as required.
