Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services using Java/Spring Boot
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement RESTful APIs and microservices
- Optimize database performance with PostgreSQL and Redis caching strategies
- Lead weekend sprint planning and code reviews ensuring quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with rapid deployment cycles
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker containerization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with Java/Python and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Expertise in microservices architecture and event-driven patterns
- Strong background in testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and TDD principles
- Experience with Agile methodologies and weekend deployment rotations
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
