Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Python
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Jenkins for weekend deployment cycles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during weekend sprint planning sessions
- Resolve production issues and optimize system performance during off-peak hours
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on rotational weekend projects
- Document technical specifications and contribute to knowledge base
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
