Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and create user personas, journey maps, and empathy maps
- Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, stakeholders)
- Participate in usability testing sessions and iterate based on feedback
- Create design documentation and style guides
- Present design solutions to clients and internal stakeholders
- Stay current with UX trends and best practices
Qualifications
- Portfolio demonstrating design thinking process (school projects acceptable)
- Basic understanding of design principles (layout, typography, color theory)
- Proficiency with Figma or willingness to learn during training
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to receive constructive feedback and iterate
- High school diploma or equivalent; design degree preferred but not required
