Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and design documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, stakeholders)
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics
- Contribute to design system maintenance and component library development
- Present design rationale to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design principles and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments
- Passion for user-centered design methodologies
- BA/BS in Design, HCI, or related field OR equivalent professional experience
