Responsibilities
- Conduct user interviews and create user personas based on research findings
- Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and low-fidelity mockupsCollaborate with product managers and developers to implement design solutions
- Participate in design critiques and iterate on feedback
- Document design decisions and maintain organized project files
- Assist with usability testing and analyze user behavior data
- Contribute fresh perspectives to design brainstorming sessions
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent portfolio)
- Basic understanding of UX principles and design thinking methodologies
- Proficiency with Figma (or willingness to learn rapidly)
- Strong visual design sensibility with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Portfolio showcasing 2-3 personal or academic projects (can be school assignments)
- Ability to receive constructive feedback and iterate quickly
- Passion for solving user problems through design
