As a key member of our design squad, you will bridge the gap between complex user needs and technical feasibility. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver products that not only look stunning but also solve real-world problems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct User Research: Perform user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis to gather actionable insights that drive design decisions.
- Design Systems: Create and maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across all product touchpoints.
- Prototyping: Build high-fidelity interactive prototypes and wireframes using Figma to visualize user flows and test concepts before development.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to translate business requirements into elegant, functional design solutions.
- Visual Design: Apply strong principles of typography, color theory, and layout to craft visually compelling interfaces.
- Accessibility Advocacy: Ensure all designs adhere to WCAG accessibility guidelines to provide inclusive experiences for all users.
- Feedback Integration: Gather feedback from users and stakeholders, iterating rapidly to refine and perfect the user journey.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating end-to-end project delivery.
- Tools: Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Methodology: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate design rationale to non-designers.
- Agile: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and a proactive approach to rapid prototyping and iteration.
- Technical Awareness: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive design principles is a plus.
