We are urgently hiring a highly skilled System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team in the heart of Seattle, WA. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Linux and Windows environments to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Implement and manage advanced security protocols, firewalls, and access controls to protect organizational data.
- Configure and troubleshoot cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and perform disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support software development and business initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a System Administrator or Network Engineer in a professional IT setting.
- Strong expertise in Linux (RHEL, CentOS) and Windows Server administration.
- Deep knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS preferred) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Linux+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or CCNA) are a plus.
