Responsibilities
- System Maintenance & Updates: Perform critical code maintenance, bug fixes, and performance optimizations during off-peak weekend hours.
- Deployment Management: Execute CI/CD pipelines, manage version control (Git), and deploy stable releases to production environments.
- Code Quality Assurance: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in real-time, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Product team and QA engineers to define requirements and validate solutions.
- Security Compliance: Implement security protocols and conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and safety.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on backend or full-stack engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, or C#; solid understanding of SQL and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Availability: Must be available to work the Weekend Shift (e.g., Friday-Sunday) and handle on-call duties if required.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug complex systems independently.
