Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain: Write clean, scalable, and efficient code for our core software applications and backend systems.
- System Stability: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot bugs, and resolve technical issues that arise during weekend operations.
- Deployment: Execute software deployments, database migrations, and configuration updates with zero downtime.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the QA and DevOps teams to ensure code quality and deployment readiness.
- Documentation: Update technical documentation, runbooks, and code comments to ensure knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (e.g., Friday-Monday or Saturday-Sunday).
- Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, or C#; experience with SQL and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to Long Beach, Texas.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
