Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM EST)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate testing infrastructure
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Contribute to API development and integration with third-party services
- Maintain code quality through peer reviews and architectural standards
- Document technical specifications and create detailed runbooks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Proficiency in at least two modern programming languages (Python, Java, Go, or Node.js)
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and system design experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
