Responsibilities
- Lead development of microservices architecture using AWS/GCP and Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural planning
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Terraform and Jenkins for 99.99% uptime
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB) at 10M+ record scale
- Drive SRE initiatives including monitoring, alerting, and incident response
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and present at tech meetups
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in production-level software development
- Expertise in at least two modern programming languages (Python, Go, Java)
- Strong foundation in distributed systems and cloud-native architecture
- Proven track record of leading complex projects from conception to deployment
- Experience with CI/CD, testing frameworks, and infrastructure as code
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
- Portfolio demonstrating contributions to scalable systems
