Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases across web, mobile, and desktop applications
- Design and implement detailed test plans, test scripts, and defect reports using JIRA and TestRail
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers to identify quality risks early
- Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for major releases
- Analyze complex system requirements to create test scenarios covering edge cases and user workflows
- Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools
- Document test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality metrics
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software QA testing with proven track record in Agile/Scrum environments
- Expertise in test automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress) and programming languages (Python/Java)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test integration in DevOps workflows
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex requirements into test scenarios
- Certification in ISTQB or equivalent quality assurance methodology preferred
- Experience testing enterprise-level SaaS applications and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Exceptional attention to detail with demonstrated ability to spot subtle defects
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and defect reporting
