We are urgently hiring a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in North Carolina. We are looking for a proactive professional who can bridge the gap between complex data and strategic decision-making. This role offers the flexibility of remote work with the opportunity to relocate to our vibrant Charlotte office, complete with relocation assistance for the right candidate.
In this position, you will take ownership of our data infrastructure, transforming raw datasets into actionable insights that drive business growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, optimize processes, and present findings to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
Responsibilities
- Perform deep data mining and cleaning to ensure high-quality datasets for analysis.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and Python scripts to extract and manipulate data.
- Design and build interactive dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and outliers that impact business outcomes.
- Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to improve data accuracy and system performance.
- Manage ad-hoc reporting requests and automate routine data processes to increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python or R for data manipulation.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or PowerBI.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value.
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Must be willing to relocate to North Carolina and comfortable working in a hybrid/remote environment.
