Responsibilities
- Collect and Clean Data: Gather raw data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform in-depth data analysis using statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Reporting: Develop clear, concise reports and presentations for stakeholders to support business decision-making.
- Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from large databases.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python or R.
- Tools: Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Location: Must reside in Pennsylvania or Illinois and be available for a fully remote setup.
