Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies specific to weekend operational metrics.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to support executive decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting requirements for the weekend shift.
- Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and implement corrective measures to ensure data integrity.
- Create detailed reports and documentation to communicate findings to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
- Optimize data pipelines and SQL queries to improve reporting efficiency during peak weekend periods.
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct quality assurance checks on all weekend-generated reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a 24/7 or shift-based operational environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and extraction.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation.
- Expert knowledge of data visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and effectively during assigned weekend shifts.
- Willingness to relocate to North Carolina with assistance provided.
