In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs, ensuring our analytics infrastructure is robust and scalable. You will be responsible for maintaining our data pipelines and providing clear, visual insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleansing: Extract, clean, and transform complex datasets from various sources to ensure high data quality and accuracy.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends for stakeholders.
- SQL & Database Management: Write optimized SQL queries and scripts to retrieve data and support ad-hoc analysis requests.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies within the data.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to the management team.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement in data handling and reporting workflows.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to define data requirements and support business goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and experience with ETL processes.
- Visualization Tools: Expert knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
