Role Overview
The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large data sets. You will play a crucial role in helping stakeholders understand data trends and patterns, ultimately driving business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather raw data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex quantitative analyses to identify trends, correlations, and insights.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Report Generation: Create comprehensive reports and presentations that translate complex data findings into actionable business strategies.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to define metrics and improve data processes.
- Predictive Modeling: Build models to forecast future trends and support long-term strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Querying), Python or R (Programming), and Excel.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Tools: Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is highly preferred.
