Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure high-quality data for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analyses and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Reporting & Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards (Tableau, Power BI) and clear, concise reports to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- SQL & Database Management: Write optimized SQL queries to extract and manipulate data efficiently from relational databases.
- Forecasting: Use historical data to forecast future trends and support business planning and strategy.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and solve complex business problems.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Programming: Strong scripting skills in Python or R.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
