Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security systems to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal and external networks.
- Configure and manage firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
- Conduct security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Investigate security breaches, analyze logs, and provide detailed incident reports.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement secure coding practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in information security or a related IT field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CompTIA Network+.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure in an urgent environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.
