Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage robust security frameworks to protect company assets.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential risks.
- Monitor security alerts and incidents via SIEM tools and respond immediately to mitigate threats.
- Enforce compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and conduct security awareness training programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role.
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
