Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts, events, and logs 24/7 during weekend shifts to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on weekend schedules.
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with the SOC team during critical outages.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Generate and report on security metrics, trends, and incident summaries for management review.
- Collaborate with development teams to secure new applications and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and scripting (Python/Bash).
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure during the weekend shift.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
