Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and system logs to detect and respond to security breaches and anomalies in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify potential weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and encryption standards.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and internal security policies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CySA+ are strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and virtualization.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and incident response frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
