Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts, investigate threats, and coordinate incident response across cloud/on-prem environments
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and maintain SIEM dashboards, playbooks, and automation scripts
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Generate detailed threat intelligence reports and executive summaries
- Lead security awareness training for employees
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry standards (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, SOC, or incident response
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Ability to work under pressure during high-stakes security incidents
