Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux environments
- Implement and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN infrastructures
- Monitor system performance using Nagios/Zabbix and resolve critical incidents within SLAs
- Execute patch management and vulnerability assessments across 500+ endpoints
- Configure and troubleshoot cloud services (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Document IT procedures and maintain compliance with FedRAMP standards
- Provide Tier 3 support during on-call rotation (1 week/month)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise backup solutions (Veeam)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell/Bash) for automation
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or equivalent required
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and containerization
- Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST 800-53, CIS Benchmarks)
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance (US citizenship required)
- Proven track record in high-availability environments
