Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and routers.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect company data and comply with industry standards.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting for end-user hardware and software issues.
- Ensure data backups are performed regularly and are recoverable in the event of a disaster.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new software and hardware solutions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or IT Support Specialist.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server administration and Active Directory.
- Proficiency in Linux administration and command-line interfaces.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
