Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud infrastructure
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect systems against cyber threats
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues with minimal downtime
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell/Python/Bash scripting
- Oversee network configurations, firewalls, and VPN setups
- Document system changes, procedures, and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT operations
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in system administration with Windows/Linux environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Linux+, or MCSA preferred
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and ticketing systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical teams
