Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across hybrid cloud/on-premises infrastructure
- Lead disaster recovery planning and execute system patches/upgrades during maintenance windows
- Optimize network performance through VLAN management, firewall configuration, and traffic analysis
- Automate provisioning using Ansible/Terraform and monitor systems with Nagios/Zabbix
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration
- Document SOPs and conduct quarterly security audits to ensure compliance
- Provide Tier-3 support resolution for critical incidents and capacity planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years administering enterprise-level Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL/CentOS environments
- Expertise in VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or RHCS required
- Proficiency with scripting (PowerShell/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Demonstrated experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP management
- Strong background in network security principles and NIST compliance frameworks
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations and emergency deployments
