Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level server systems (Windows/Linux)
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments
- Oversee network security protocols and disaster recovery planning
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex system issues and user escalations
- Automate workflows using PowerShell/Python and configuration management tools
- Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization
- Document IT processes and compliance frameworks (SOX/HIPAA)
Qualifications
- 5+ years in system administration with enterprise-scale environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and CI/CD pipeline knowledge
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and hardware issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
