Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using Go and Python
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization with Terraform and Jenkins
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices across the engineering org
- Optimize system performance and scalability for 10M+ user applications
- Drive incident response and post-mortem analysis for production issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in production-level software development
- Expertise in Go or Python with strong CS fundamentals
- Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS)
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Strong background in building RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design solutions
