Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM and EDR platforms
- Lead incident response coordination for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise networks
- Develop zero-trust architecture solutions for cloud and hybrid environments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to security awareness programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in cybersecurity engineering with hands-on incident response
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or OSCP required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security protocols
- Strong proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike, Splunk)
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance within 90 days
