Responsibilities
- Lead security incident response investigations using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-premise systems
- Develop and implement zero-trust architecture security controls
- Monitor 24/7 security operations center (SOC) alerts and triage threats
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS
- Document security procedures and create executive-level threat reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on SOC analyst experience
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or GIAC (GCIH, GCFA preferred)
- Expertise in network security protocols (Firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Ability to work under pressure during critical security incidents
