Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for cyber threats including ransomware and APT attacks
- Develop and implement security automation scripts using Python or PowerShell
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Document security procedures and create executive incident reports
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with SOC or incident response experience
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification (required)
- Expertise in threat detection tools (Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and CIS controls
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain
