Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues during night hours
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decision-making
- Monitor and maintain production systems using AWS/GCP services
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience with Python, Java, or Node.js
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices patterns
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong written communication for asynchronous collaboration
