Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Python, and AWS
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and optimize system performance for 24/7 operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers during night shift rotations
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement robust monitoring solutions

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with night shift or remote collaboration
- Expertise in at least one: Java, Python, or JavaScript (Node.js)
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices
- Demonstrable problem-solving skills with production systems
- Excellent written communication for asynchronous collaboration
- Experience with Agile methodologies and version control (Git)
