Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Implement network security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with IT teams to support system upgrades and expansions
- Provide technical support to resolve user network-related problems
- Conduct regular network audits to ensure optimal performance
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with network hardware and protocols
