Job Description
We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team on an immediate basis. This is a critical role where you will drive the development of our core platform. We are offering a competitive compensation package including a robust Equity Options plan for eligible candidates.
Based in Chicago, IL, you will work in a hybrid environment (with remote flexibility) solving complex technical challenges for our global clientele.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure system stability and performance.
- Participate in architectural discussions and technical planning sessions.
- Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
