Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance microservices using Go and Java
- Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS with Kubernetes and Terraform
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers through pair programming
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI
- Optimize database performance with PostgreSQL and Redis
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Debug and resolve production issues with 24/7 on-call rotation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Go/Java
- Expertise in cloud architecture (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Strong grasp of system design and scalability principles
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (Jest, PyTest, JUnit)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communicator comfortable with stakeholder presentations
