Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize system performance and scalability for 99.99% uptime SLA
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Drive architectural decisions for new patient data analytics features
- Implement robust security protocols for HIPAA-compliant data handling
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building enterprise-grade Java applications
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Strong background in RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Proven track record of mentoring development teams
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
