Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts within the SOC (Security Operations Center) in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses before hackers do.
- Manage and investigate security incidents, including malware analysis and ransomware response.
- Enforce enterprise security policies and ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards.
- Collaborate with IT and software development teams to implement secure coding practices.
- Generate and present security reports to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Network Security.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, AWS Security Hub, Sentinel).
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network security protocols (VPN, Firewalls).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
