Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time to mitigate threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure network architecture and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network security principles.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, CrowdStrike) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 SOC environment.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance (if applicable).
