Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and intrusion prevention systems to safeguard network infrastructure.
- Respond to cybersecurity incidents, conduct forensic analysis, and coordinate with incident response teams.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 27001.
- Develop and maintain robust security policies, procedures, and awareness training programs.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or Information Security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CompTIA Network+ are highly preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), OSI model, and common attack vectors.
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working effectively in a fully remote setting.
