Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and on-premise systems
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls and access controls
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Design and execute disaster recovery plans and system backups
- Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration
- Document system configurations and maintain accurate inventories
- Provide Tier 3 support and mentor junior IT staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Linux/Windows environments
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and TCP/IP protocols
- Certification in AWS/Azure or equivalent cloud platforms
- Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Proven track record in implementing security best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
