Responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js/Python
- Lead cloud infrastructure deployments on AWS/GCP
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architecture planning
- Optimize system performance for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source initiatives and technical publications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in production-level software development
- Expertise in at least one modern backend framework (Express/Django)
- Strong Kubernetes and container orchestration skills
- Proficient with Git, Agile methodologies, and test-driven development
- Experience with distributed systems and data modeling
- Ability to obtain DoD clearance (citizenship required)
