Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Python
- Optimize AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, Lambda, RDS) for 99.99% uptime
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Docker/Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Conduct rigorous testing (unit, integration, performance) and security audits
- Drive agile sprints using Jira and Confluence
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade systems
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with fintech or high-transaction systems preferred
