Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct thorough incident response investigations and remediation.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Develop and update security policies and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Conduct security awareness training for remote staff.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on network security.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are required.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, and routing protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a remote team setting.
- Ability to obtain a Security+ clearance if required.
