Responsibilities
- Lead incident response investigations for complex cyber attacks across financial services infrastructure
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk, ArcSight, and Palo Alto Networks
- Develop and implement threat hunting strategies to identify zero-day vulnerabilities
- Conduct forensic analysis of compromised systems and prepare executive reports
- Collaborate with red team to simulate advanced persistent threats
- Maintain NIST 800-53 compliance frameworks for client environments
- Mentor junior analysts on emerging threat vectors and mitigation techniques
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in incident response or threat hunting
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification required (e.g., GCFA, GCIH)
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk/Splunk Phantom) and EDR solutions
- Hands-on experience with network forensics (Wireshark, FTK)
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and TTPs
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one
