Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 security operations center (SOC) rotations for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis across hybrid environments
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and on-premise systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate critical vulnerabilities within SLAs
- Generate executive-level security reports and maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of security protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations or incident response
- Advanced certifications: CISSP, CISM, or GIAC Security Expert (GSE)
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of network protocols, cloud security, and threat intelligence
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
